Yolisa Bono LLB (2015)
Yolisa Bono LLB (2015) is the Managing Director and a legal practitioner holds 7 years post graduate experience. He also currently holds Post Graduate Diploma in Labour Law Practice which was obtained from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in 2016.
He is currently pursuing a Masters in Transport Law.
He was admitted as an Attorney in 2018 after which he obtained his right of appearance at the High Court and has maintained activity in practice to date.
He is our lead Legal Practitioner in all litigation matters within YBI. His is an affluent experience in Transport Law, Recoveries, Labour Law, Consumer Credit Law and Civil Litigation (amongst others).
He is also a commissioner at a few Statutory Bargaining Councils due to his level of expertise in Labour Law.
He holds many skills which are admired and appreciated by all who interact with him. He remains committed to each matter until said case is concluded.
Banelisiwe Booi
Banelisiwe Booi is a member of our civil, debt collections and litigation department. She holds two qualifications which include an LLB degree for which she graduated in April 2022 as well as a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) which she graduated in April 2016.
Both qualifications have been attained at the Nelson Mandela University. She has also completed her PLT (Practical Legal Training) in 2022 at the Legal Education & Development (LEAD).

Gcobisa Magadaza
Legal Secretary and Office Manager – She holds a Higher Certificate in Business Administration from Varsity College. She is currently studying towards a Diploma in Business Administration with UNISA. She has a comprehensive understanding of various areas of law, such as family law, deceased estates etc. and together with her formal education has attended a range of short courses in Legal Secretary and Deceased Estates (LEAD).
She is responsible for the Deceased Estates Department and is responsible for providing support to Legal Practitioners by handling variety of administrative tasks.
Athini Mpitshane
Athini Mpitshane is a Billing Secretary at YBI Attorneys. She hold a Higher Certificate in Accountancy and currently pursuing her diploma in Accountancy at Nelson Mandela University.
She is responsible for performing variety of administrative duties and facilitating communications within the office.
