Yolisa Bono LLB (2015) is the Managing Director holds close to a decade of experience. He also currently holds Post Graduate Diploma in Labour Law Practice which was obtained from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in 2016.

He is currently pursuing a Masters in Transport Law.

He was admitted as an Attorney in 2018 after which he obtained his right of appearance at the High Court and has maintained activity in practice to date.

He is our lead Legal Practitioner in all litigation matters within YBI. His is an affluent experience in Transport Law, Recoveries, Labour Law, Consumer Credit Law and Civil Litigation (amongst others).

He is also a commissioner at a few Statutory Bargaining Councils due to his level of expertise in Labour Law.

He holds many skills which are admired and appreciated by all who interact with him. He remains committed to each matter until said case is concluded.

Gcobisa Magadaza

Legal Secretary and Office Manager – She holds a Higher Certificate in Business Administration from Varsity College. She is currently studying towards a Diploma in Business Administration with UNISA. She has a comprehensive understanding of various areas of law, such as family law, deceased estates etc. and together with her formal education has attended a range of short courses in Legal Secretary and Deceased Estates (LEAD).

She is responsible for the Deceased Estates Department and is responsible for providing support to Legal Practitioners by handling variety of administrative tasks.

Lutho Bhe is an eager Candidate Legal Practitioner at YBI Attorneys. She holds Two Qualifications, a Bachelor of Laws which was obtained from UNISA in 2024 as well as a Bachelor of Commerce in Law obtained from the University of Pretoria in 2021. She has also completed her Practical Legal Training at the Legal Education and Development (LEAD) in 2024.

Her clerkship spans across all areas of the law as per the firm’s service offering under the guidance of Mr Bono (Managing Director).

Anelisa Nakani
A candidate attorney and a member of our civil, debt collections and litigation department. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Nelson Mandela university which she completed in 2022. She further enhanced her legal expertise; she completed her Practical Legal Training at Illovo Paralegal College of Education in 2024. 

She is committed to applying my skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service to our client. 

Anelisa Swartbooi

A receptionist and first line of contact. Holds an N6 certificate in Human Resource Management. Provides client service and administrative support. A former research assistant at the Nelson Mandela University under the Department of Development Studies. She specializes in personnel management, administrative duties and have knowledge of legal work (estates, family planning, debt collection, contract drafting and tendering of bids). Has great knowledge, experience and skills in a field of endeavor.

Qayiya Tshazi

Qayiya Tshazi is an enthusiastic Candidate Legal Practitioner at YBI Attorneys Inc. He has a solid background in criminal law and not limited to that he is passionate about the legal fraternity and all areas of law offered by the firm. He holds a Higher certificate in Criminal Justice and Bachelor of laws obtained from Nelson Mandela University in 2024. He has completed his Practical Legal Training at legal Education and Development (LEAD) in 2025.

His clerkship spans across all areas of law as per the firm’s service, offering under the guidance of Mr. Bono (Managing Director).
